Members of the Parañaque police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and Sub-Station 4 seized P2,210,000 worth of shabu from two male suspects in a buy-bust operation conducted on Tuesday night, May. 2.
Col. Renato Ocampo, city police chief, identified the suspect as Mohn Chandumal Jiwatramani, 64, of Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.
The suspect's companion, identified as Efren John Frac, also known as alias Zeth, was able to elude arrest.
Ocampo said the suspect was arrested at around 11:27 p.m. along Gadiola Street, Tramo Uno, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

The city police chief said operatives were able to confiscate four plastic sachets containing 325 grams of shabu, amounting to P2,210,000.
Ocampo said police operatives also confiscated from the suspect a P1,000 genuine bill on top of 49 pieces of boodle money, a black weighing scale, a black belt bag, and an identification card.
The confiscated drugs were brought to the Southern Police District (SPD)Â Forensic Unit for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
The suspect was detained at the police custodial facility and a case for illegal possession of drugs will be filed against the suspect.
