Positivity rate refers to the number of individuals who yielded positive results from among those who have been tested for Covid-19. The benchmark for the positivity rate set by the World Health Organization is 5 percent. David also noted that hospital occupancy in Metro Manila rose from 22.5 percent on April 25 to 24.7 percent on May 2. On Wednesday, the Department of Health reported 867 new Covid-19 cases across the country, of which 392 cases were recorded in Metro Manila.
