All the makeup products she used for her Met Gala 2023 look are affordable, too!

Kendall Jenner might have dominated the fashion scene at The Met Gala 2023’s red carpet with her black shimmer bodysuit and lace-up platform boots, but going even more viral now, post-Met Gala, is how her makeup artist Mary Phillips used affordable L’Oreal Paris makeup products on her.

In an Instagram post, Mary shares that L’Oreal Paris is the partner for this look. “We were inspired by ‘70s mod makeup with an emphasis on the eyes: bold lashes to compliment the upper and lower lash lines with a classic winged liner.” In the same post, she shared all the products she used so followers and fans alike can copy the look.

She prepped with Revitalift Derm Intesives 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum, 1.5% Hyaluronic + 1% Caffeine Eye Serum, and Line-Plumping Water Cream. For the foundation, she used both Infallible 24-Hour Fresh Wear Foundation in 425 and 455 with Age Perfect 4-in-1 Tinted Balm in Medium and Deep 10. Infallible Full Wear Concealer in Vanilla, Cashmere, and Biscuit was used as concealer, while True Match Super Blendable Blush in Tender Rose was applied for the blush. Bronzer was Infallible Soft Matte Bronzer in Medium, and highlighter is True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer in Light.

“The inspiration for Kendall’s makeup was pulled from mod ’70s makeup with an emphasis on the eyes. Bold lashes to complement the upper and lower lash lines with a classic winged liner,” Mary shares in a press release.

The products she used are Infallible Grip Mechanical Gel Eyeliner in Black Brown, La Palette Nude for the eyeshadow, Infallible Grip Precision Felt Waterproof Liner in 600 Black, Telescopic Lift Mascara,Brow Stylist Definer Mechanical Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brunette, and Longwear Brow Topcoat in Universal Transparent.

“I started off by using a neutral brown eyeshadow  in the crease and under the eye,” shared Phillips. “Under the eye, I used a darker chocolate shade on the outer corners and flicked it out. Then, the middle of the two wings, I used the lightest shade in the palette to emphasize the wings and elongate the eye.”

She sealed the look with lipsticks Colour Riche Matte Lip Liner Au Naturale and Colour Riche Intense Volume Matte in Le Nude Admirable, setting the whole look with Infallible Foundation Powder in Vanilla.
