HOW TO: Emma Chamberlain dramatic blue smokey eye look

An updated '90s grunge look that's very chic

Influencer with over 16 million followers on Instagram, Emma Chamberlain is back at The Met Gala 2023 to host for Vogue. Picking a coords by Miu Miu in a shade of bluish lavender, makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan-Fisher knew she had to add a little twist to this polished look of Emma. 

“We just had to bring some color to the carpet…with a little ‘90s inspo. She’s giving a strong moody blue halo smokey eye, matte skin, and a nude brown lip,” posted makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan Fisher on her Instagram account, along with photos of test looks done on paper. 

Using Lancome products, Kelsey mixed blue and purple eyeshadows from three Hypnose 5-color palettes including Bleu Hypnotique, Reflet D’Amethyste, and Drama Denim. Lined water lines are care of Le Stylo Waterproof in 02 Noir Intense, and Monsieur Big Volume Mascara. We’re loving her brown lips—Le Lip Liner in 11 Bronzelle with L’Absolu Rouge Cream Lipstick in 546 But First Cafe and 250 Tendre Mirage.
