Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Project 6 operatives arrested a woman after she allegedly stole items from a house in Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City, on Monday, May 29.
Lt. Col. Richard Mepania, QCPD Project 6 Station 15 commander, identified the suspect as Karen Valeroso, 40, of Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City.
QCPD Project 6 Station 15 operatives conducted an anti-criminality patrol along Fema Road when a concerned citizen reported to them an "akyat-bahay" incident involving the suspect and her cohort in a house in the area at around 2 a.m. Responding operatives went to the said house to verify the report.
Upon their arrival, Veloso was identified by one Mark Anthony Lim as one of the suspects.

Veloso allegedly hid in the garage after stealing several items from the house. Her cohort managed to escape. Police arrested Veloso and recovered four pieces of electrical wires worth P1,200, two pieces of fuse box worth P500 each, and one kitchen knife. Appropriate charges will be filed against Valeroso, police said. Meanwhile, a manhunt operation is being conducted to arrest her cohort.
