Becoming one of the most well-known K-pop idols, former 2NE1 member, Sandara Park, did not hold back while discussing her dating life. She spoke openly about her experiences and didn't shy away from the topic. On a YouTube web show entitled ''No Back Tak Jae-hoon'', the K-pop star revealed that she has no plans of getting married. The show's host Tak Jae-hoon asked Sandara if she hated men. To which Sandara simply answered, ''It’s not like that. I want to stay single. There are too many people around me who have failed marriages.'' Aside from that, she also mentioned that her previous company YG Entertainment has strict rules when it comes to dating. After her successful career in the Philippines, Sandara moved to South Korea to become a K-pop idol. She debuted under the girl group named 2NE1 in 2009, along with the members CL, Park Bom, and Minzy. ''After I debuted, all these male celebrities hit on me. Yang Hyung Suk eventually heard the rumors and confiscated all four of our cellphones because of me,” she said. According to her, there were a lot of sunbaes (older) and hoobaes (younger) artists who tried to date her when she started her career. In her previous interview with KBS JOY’s Love Intervention in 2020, Sandara shared how the dating ban affected her love life. “When I was a trainee, I was scolded for being in a relationship, and my manager took away my cellphone. Then after I debuted, there was a five-year dating ban,'' she recalled. Then she admitted she adhered to the rule instead of secretly dating, although on the other hand, it didn't last long. ''I’ve been in ‘untact’ (non-face-to-face contact) relationships even before COVID-19,” she said. “Only recently did I make up my mind to date actively. All I needed was a will to be more assertive. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to my ex-boyfriends,” she added.
