Motivational speaker and social media influencer Rendon Labador issued a public apology video to actors Michael V. and Coco Martin. This came about after Rendon posted a video about how Influencers are the new mainstream celebrities. Things got more heated after Michael V. posted a statement about content creators, to which Rendo commented ''Masakit na katotohanan na laos na kayo. We control the media now." Although it's not just Michael V, he also made comments about Coco's issue where some of the vendors in Quiapo were interrupted due to the shooting of his show ''FPJ'S Batang Quiapo''. ''Gusto ko pong humingi ng apology, gusto ko pong humingi ng pasensya sa lahat po ng Pilipinong nasaktan at naging emotional sa mga nangyayari sa social media,'' he said.
