Muntinlupa City’s total active Covid-19 cases have decreased in the past week below the 100 mark.
Data from the City Health Office (CHO) showed that as of May 29, there are 96 active Covid-19 cases in Muntinlupa, down by 18 cases, or 15.8 percent, compared to 114 that were recorded as of May 22.

Muntinlupa's Covid-19 tally as of May 29 (Photo from Muntinlupa PIO) Of the 96 active Covid-19 cases, 23 are recorded in Barangay Putatan, 16 in Poblacion, 13 each in Tunasan and Ayala Alabang, 10 in Alabang, seven in Cupang, six in Sucat and three in Buli. Muntinlupa recorded a weekly increase in the number of active Covid-19 cases in the past few weeks. There were only five as of April 10. As of May 29, deaths related to Covid-19 in Muntinlupa totaled 664, an increase of three cases compared to 661 last week. Since 2020, Muntinlupa has recorded 47,005 confirmed cases, 46,245 recoveries and 664 deaths. To date, there are 15 probable Covid-19 cases in the city. The Muntinlupa City government continued to remind people to do the following to be an “MVP” in the fight against Covid-19: Always wear MASKS; get VACCINATED up to the second booster; and observe PROPER handwashing and disinfection.
