Man with multiple warrants nabbed in Pampanga

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga â€“ The Nueva Ecija police arrested a 37-year-old man with outstanding warrants at Marriott Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, here, on Saturday, May 27. Police Col. Richard V. Caballero, Nueva Ecija police director, said the suspect, whom he did not identify, was apprehended at about 7:30 p.m. by the Cabanatuan City police station, CIDG-Nueva Ecija, and other police units. Caballero said the suspect has standing warrants of arrest for violation of Republic Act 10591 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions) with a recommended bail of P120,000; estafa through falsification of public documents with recommended bail of P72,000, and two counts of usurpation of authority (violation of Article 177 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended), with recommended bail of P50,000 each. Suspect is now under the custody of the Cabanatuan City police station.
