Man, back rider die in motorcycle-bus collision in Isabela

SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela – A 35-year-old man and his back rider died in a collision between their motorcycle and a provincial passenger bus on the Maharlika Highway, Purok Nieto, Barangay Batal here on Sunday, May 28. The Police Regional Office-2 identified the victims as Reymond Pepe Pascua Martin and Chris Richer Gante. Initial investigation said that the Florida bus driven by Frederico Billena Cunanan allegedly encroached and collided with the motorcycle on the opposite lane at 11:15 p.m. Martin and Gante died on the spot due to serious injuries. Both vehicles incurred damages with undetermined cost of repair. Follow-up investigation is ongoing, Staff Sgt. Bienvinido C Seredio Jr., officer-on-case, said.
