ENHYPEN sells 1.32 million copies of 'Dark Blood' to set own personal record

K-pop boy band ENHYPEN broke their own personal record for the highest first-week album sales.  ENHYPEN released their fourth mini-album “Dark Blood” on May 22.  ENHYPEN (Belift Lab)
According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Dark Blood” sold a total of 1,322,516 copies in the first week of release from May 22 to 28.  This surpassed ENHYPEN’s “Manifesto: Day 1,” which sold 1,241,112 copies in the first week of release in July last year.  It topped Hanteo Chart’s weekly physical album chart for May 22 to 28 with an equivalent physical record index score of 1,477,455, which incorporated the album price and the total  number of copies sold.  The total for “Dark Blood” emerged as the highest first-week sales for ENHYPEN since their debut in November 2020.  Before this, “Dark Blood” sold 1,108,337 copies on the first day of release on May 22, a first for ENHYPEN and their third album to reach one million in sales.  On iTunes, “Dark Blood” grabbed the No. 1 spot on the Top Albums chart in 30 countries and regions including Japan, France and Indonesia.  ENHYPEN’s “Dark Blood” now ranked 18th on the all-time first week sales for Korean albums:  Here is the top 20 highest first-week album sales, according to blog Korean Sales:  1\.
