The GMA Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) told the Manila Bulletin that the blaze ignited from an electrical post and reached the first alarm before it was put out.

Public Information Officer Rica Genel Peñafiel said the displaced families are now temporarily sheltered in Barangay Maderan’s multi-purpose hall.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, May 30, Mayor Maricel Echevarria Torres said the local government unit (LGU) is now coordinating with the fire victims to assist them.
