ZAMBOANGA CITY – The local government on Saturday, May 27, held the Festival delas Bellas y Flores, this city’s version of the traditional Flores de Mayo.

Twenty Zamboangueña beauties donned gowns by local designers during the kick-off parade or “Parada delas Bellas” from the Saint Ignatius de Loyola Parish to the pageant venue.
The participating models and their designers then displayed their resplendent gowns to the delight of the crowd at the Tetuan Coliseum.
Participants competed for Best Gown, Prettiest Señorita, and Best Arco.
The Festival de las Bellas y Flores is one of the main highlights in this year’s Verano Festival de Zamboanga.
