Speaking  before a crowd at the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV) in Cebu City on Saturday, May 27, Marcos told them to not hesitate in reaching out to him if they think his intervention is needed in certain issues.

"Nandiyan pa rin kayo at inaasahan namin kayo na (You are still here and we expect that) you’re still our partners in all that we are doing in nation-building," Marcos told them.

"We talked about nation-building before. That is still the same. It is still the same dream that we have. It is still the same dream that we fight for. It is still the same dream that we are continuing to dream," he added.

The President told his supporters to "stay together" and "stay organized", especially now that there are a lot to accomplish under his term.

"Marami tayong kailangan gawin. Pagka mayroon kayo dito sa locality, kung meron kayong nakikita na kailangan ayusin, marami naman kayong contact dito sa amin, sabihan ninyo kami (We have  to do a lot of things. If you need to fix something here in the locality, you have many ways to contact us, so tell us)," he said.

"Para naman masabi natin pag nabalitaan ng national government na may problema ay may ginawa kaagad at makikita (So that when the national government learns about a problem, there's an immediate action and to see that) we are very responsive to the needs of our people," he added.

Marcos was in Cebu to attend the grand launch of Pier 88 seaport project in Liloan.

During his visit, he took the opportunity to meet his supporters and thanked them for backing his presidential bid last year. He also assured them that his administration will continue to support the province's development, especially in the fields of agriculture, energy, and small businesses.
