Carlo Aquino and Trina Candaza seem to be on good terms after reuniting for the moving-up day of their daughter Enola Mithi. Mithi celebrated her milestone with the ex-couple, and the photo showed that they are making progress when it comes to co-parenting. Another picture also showed Mithi performing with her classmates and posing with her grandparents.

Their fans also took time to congratulate Mithi in the comment section.
But despite being on good terms, the two have also been caught up in an issue after Carlo claimed that Trina prevented him from seeing their daughter after calling it quits. In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Trina quickly said that it is not true that she does not allow Carlo to see their daughter. Aside from that, she also mentioned that she and Carlo both support Mithi, in contrast to Carlo's claim that he’s financially supporting her and their daughter. ''I also pay half of our expenses. Para sa akin, dalawa kaming nagpo-provide,” she mentioned during the interview. (I also pay half of our expenses. So for me, we're both providing) Carlo and Trina officially became a couple in January 2019, and in September 2020, they welcomed their daughter Mithi. They dated for three years before calling it quits in December 2021.
