With the development, Laure will be joining forces with Golden Tigress teammate and middle blocker Imee Hernandez along with the National University trio of Joyme Cagande, Season 84 Best Libero Jen Nierva, and Finals MVP Cess Robles.
The former Lady Bulldogs were welcomed a day prior as the Crossovers begin their preparation for the upcoming conference after missing out on the semifinals and placing fifth in the All-Filipino last March.
The 24-year-old veteran spiker finished Season 85 as the league’s top scorer and steered UST to a Final Four appearance, where they suffered defeat at the hands of the eventual champions De La Salle Lady Spikers.
In 2019, Laure towed the Golden Tigresses to a silver medal finish and was also named Rookie of the Year and First Best Outside Spiker for Season 81.
The younger Laure will be adding firepower to the Chery Tiggo rotation which her sister has been a part of since last year.
Meanwhile, Hernandez similarly had another playing year left in the UAAP but decided to make the move out of the collegiate league.
