Parañaque officials visit 'sister city' Carson, California to strengthen ties
Officials from the Parañaque city government paid a courtesy call on Carson, California Mayor Lula Davis-Holmes to further strengthen the relations between the "sister cities" on May 24.

The Parañaque city delegation was composed of Eva Nono, representing Representative Edwin Olivarez; City Planning and Development Coordinator’s Office head Engr. Benigno Rivera Jr., representing Mayor Eric Olivarez; and Cultural, Historical, and Tourism Promotions Division head Melquiades Alipo-on.
Mayor Eric sent a message of support to the officials of the City of Carson led by Mayo Davis-Holmes. He expressed his hopes to continue their cultural and socio-economic partnership.
The delegates also handed to Holmes a certificate expressing their gratitude to the Carlson mayor, along with a coffee table book titled, “Parañaque: Mega City by the Bay.”
The two cities signed a Sister Cities Agreement in 2017 during the term of former mayor Rep. Olivarez.
Since then, officials of both cities have regularly conducted official visits and exchanged communications.
