Pangasinan mayor visits AICS payout of Rep. Olivarez in Parañaque City
Mayor Kelvin Chan of Pozorrubio, Pangasinan visited the payout activity for the Assistance to Individual in Crisis Situation (AICS) project of Parañaque 1st District Representative Edwin Olivarez on May 25.

Olivarez was with his brother, Mayor Eric Olivarez, in welcoming Chan and his delegates during the distribution of assistance to 500 AICS beneficiaries held at the Parañaque Sports Complex.
The Olivarez brothers shared to Chan the programs, services and activities being implemented by the city government to senior citizens.
These include distribution of centenarian benefits to senior citizens aged 85 and above, birthday cash gifts, Christmas cash gifts amounting to P500, and Pamaskong Handog.
Mayor Eric also said the city’s senior citizens can also avail of free laboratory examination and immunization at the Ospital ng Parañaque I.
Olivarez said the city government is also implementing a city ordinance giving senior citizens time to watch free movies every Monday and Tuesday, free parking in all commercial establishments, and exemption from color coding scheme.
He said the city government also entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with two restaurant companies -- Shakey's Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. and Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken and Sauce Bar -- for the hiring of senior citizens and persons with disability as workers in their establishments.
The congressman said 45 municipalities in Pangasinan and Parañaque City once became sister cities.
