Noreen Divina

Nailandia, a well-known chain of nail salons and foot spas owned by married couple Noreen Divina and Juncynth Divina, has been in business for 12 years. It started because of Noreen's passion for going to the spa.

“So dati pag tumatawag yung husband ko, everytime tatawag ang husband ko, ‘Asan ka?’

“Tapos sasabihin ko, ‘Andito ako sa spa.’ ‘Andiyan ka na naman?’ “Nasa spa ka weekly.” “Ano kaya kung magtayo ka na ng sarili mo?’

“So parang may light bulb na lumabas sa ulo ko, ‘Oo nga naman, ano?’

Noreen studied in schools here and abroad related to nail salons and foot spa services.

“So ayun nag-aral ako, inaral ko lahat ng services. As in, I know how to do all of them. Pag pumupunta ako ng mga franchise visit, kapag madaming mga clients tapos puno, tapos may waiting, hindi ko na papaalisin, ako na gagawa!”

(I have thoroughly studied all services offered by the franchise. Meaning, I am proficient in performing each one of them. I won't turn them away during busy days when clients are flooding in and there is little room for additional appointments. Instead, I will personally attend to their needs to ensure they receive the best service possible.)

“May course, iba-iba, pag sa nails ibang course yan, sa spa ibang course yan, sa massage ibang course yan, sa waxing, sa eyelash iba-iba, hindi lang siya isang buong course. Dapat din pupunta ako sa California kaso  yung teacher sa California siya  na yung  pumunta dito so suwerte naman  na na-timing-an ko na pumunta yung teacher sa California dito sa Pilipinas so sa kanya ako nag-aral.”

(There are various courses to consider if you want to specialize in beauty services. Depending on your interest, you may enroll in a nail course, spa course, massage course, waxing course, eyelash course, and others. It's not just a single course covering all beauty services.)

Currently, Nailandia has branches/franchises in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. “And soon baka sa UAE or sa US."

Three Sparkle/Kapuso female stars and Voltes V: Legacy cast members bought the Nailandia franchise from Noreen: Elle Villanueva (as Eva Sanchez), Sophia Senoron (as Ally Chan) and Ysabel Ortega, who play Voltes V team member Jamie Robinson.

So how did it start?

“Kumbaga sponsored na sila ng Nailandia, sponsors ng nails nila ang Nailandia. Kumbaga pag may events punta lang sila sa Nailandia. Nagustuhan nila ang magandang service ng Nailandia kaya one time nag-message sa amin si Sophia, si Sophia ang tulay, e. So sabi niya interested daw silang mag-franchise ng isang branch. Silang tatlo, sosyo.”

(It seems that Nailandia is the go-to place for customers who want to get their nails done for any occasion. Sophia shared her wonderful experience at Nailandia with us and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service. She was so satisfied with her visit that she expressed interest in franchising a branch with her two partners. Their positive feedback is a testament to the quality of service provided at Nailandia.)

Ysabel, Elle, and Sophia's Nailandia branch will be opening at Il Terrazzo in Tomas Morato, Quezon City before the end of 2023.

Noreen is very happy about the opportunity to have a business collaboration with the three actresses because Voltes V: Legacy is a very popular series.

For nearly a decade, Nailandia relied solely on Marian Rivera, a famous actress from GMA, to endorse their brand.
