Here's what party-list faction thinks of Romualdez's 1st regular session performance

With just a few plenary session days left in the first regular session, the Party-list Coalition Foundation, Inc. (PCFI) has issued a manifesto commending House Speaker Martin Romualdez for the way the 19th Congress has gone so far. According to PCFI President and Ako Bicol Party List Rep. Zaldy Co, manifesto highlighted Romualdez's" remarkable work in advancing the welfare of the Filipino people and his dedication to the principles of democracy". "We commend Speaker Romualdez's exceptional vision and unwavering dedication to achieving balance and fairness in the work we do," Co said. "Under his leadership, the House has successfully tackled critical challenges and advanced initiatives that have strengthened our economy and safeguarded the rights and freedoms of all Filipinos," said the Bicolano, who also chairs the House Committee on Appropriations. "We firmly support his leadership and look forward to working together to address the urgent needs of our nation," Co added of Romualdez. Coinciding with the start of the Marcos administration, the first regular session represents the first full year of the 19th Congress. The first regular session will end on June 2. The final three plenary sessions in the House will take place from May 29 to 31. Under Romualdez, the lower chamber has already approved on third and final reading 31 out of the 42 priority bills of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. More bills are expected to get final House approval during the final session dates. Romualdez is Marcos' top ally in the legislature.
