Female resort caretaker shot at close range in Quezon

SARIAYA, Quezon – A 34-year-old female resort caretaker was shot dead by two unidentified assailants on Saturday afternoon, May 27, in Sitio Silangan, Barangay Guis-guis Talon in this town. The victim, who was shot at close range, was identified as Aiza Magboo, a resident of Sitio Paradise in the said village. Magboo died on the spot, according to the police report. The victim was sitting at the nipa nut at Beneraza Beach Resort at around 5:25 p.m. when the attackers shot and hit her on the different parts of the body. The suspects fled on board a motorcycle toward Candelaria. The Sariaya police conducted hot pursuit and investigation to determine the motives in the killing and identities of the suspects.
