Labra II said 10 police commissioned officers and 73 non-commissioned officers from the regional to the municipal drug enforcement units were tested. “They all tested negative according to the result released by the Regional Forensic Unit (RFU)-13,” Labra said. “The negative result in the random drug test proved that our operatives have performed their duties not just with competence but with the utmost professionalism, discipline, and integrity,” he added. “We ensured that police operatives were free from substance abuse and fit to effectively and efficiently perform anti-illegal drug operations.” In his visits to police stations across the region, Labra reminded lawmen not to engage in illegal activities, including illegal drugs, or face corresponding penalties.
