PACE Secretary General Fr. Jose Francisco Syquia wrote in a statement that as a member of the Archdiocese of Manila Commission on Extraordinary Phenomena and the Archdiocese of Manila Office, he and PACE "express their support and prayers" for Cabading. “He is one of our own. He has served faithfully in the very difficult ministry of Exorcism for many years. And has consistently been proven to be a true shepherd guiding his flock,” PACE said. Moreover, PACE, along with the Pope and the Philippine Bishops of the Catholic Church, stands with Cabading in his obedience and unity regarding this issue. Cabading, an exorcist of the Archdiocese of Manila, was arrested by the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) last May 1 for allegedly violating Article 133 of the Revised Penal Code, which pertains to offending religious feelings, as stated in a Facebook post by the CIDG. *(Rhowen Del Rosario)*
