Mayor Honey announces 'Araw ng Maynila' 2023 schedule of activities

* Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna announced on Thursday, May 25, the schedule of activities for the upcoming "Araw ng Maynila" celebration. In her Capital Report, Lacuna revealed the lineup of events. June 15, Thursday 7:00 AM- CityWide Clean Up Drive 4:00 PM- The Manila Film Festival (TMFF) Float Parade, Kartilya 6:00 PM- TMFF Premier Night, SM Manila June 16, Friday 8:00 AM- Tree Planting, Arroceros Park June 17, Saturday 9:00 AM- Manila June Bride, San Agustin Church 11:00 AM- Civil Wedding, PLM June 19, Monday 7AM- Wreath Laying in Honor of Dr. Jose Rizal, Luneta Park Afternoon- TMFF Awards Night June 20, Tuesday 6:00 PM- Rampa Manila, Bulwagan June 21, Wednesday 2:00 PM- Loyalty Service Award, MET June 22, Thursday 2:00 PM- Outstanding Manilans, MET June 23, Friday 7:00 PM- Miss Manila, MET June 24, Saturday 8:00 AM- Wreath Laying - Rajah Sulayman’ 8:30 AM- Civil and Military Parade, Moriones, Tondo 4:00 PM- Grand Copa De Manila, Malvar, Batangas

Lacuna, meanwhile, urged all the schools participating in the TMFF to support their entries. She said there will be six entries, and a block screening will take place at SM Manila. The tree planting activities on June 16 will be held across various locations in Manila, with assigned personnel overseeing each site. Mayor Honey herself will be assigned to Arroceros Park.
