The Lakes finished the B1 elimination series with a 14-46 record at the 23rd spot, which resulted in its relegation to the B2 division. Despite the disappointing finish, Ravena looks to bounce back as he begins his first stint in the B2 division. “It’s a new day for everybody. The past is done and we all look forward to what’s next. Thank you for believing in us every game. It’s a new journey for Shiga and with your support, we know we can all get back to where we once was,” he said in a statement. The Gilas Pilipinas mainstay averaged 10.5 points, 4.0 assists and 2.6 rebounds for Shiga, which he also captained through the 2022-23 season. Other Filipino imports in Matthew Wright and Kai Sotto have also signed an extension with Kyoto Hannaryz and Hiroshima Dragonflies, respectively.
