Direk Bobot returns to his musical roots

Edgar Mortiz, fondly called Direk Bobot in the entertainment industry, has done it all. From singing, acting, producing, and directing. For the past year, he has been quietly pursuing a passion project. Returning to his musical roots and recording some of his most beloved standard tunes made popular by his musical hero "Ol Blue Eyes" Frank Sinatra. Tentatively titled "Goin Standards", the eight-track album is planned for a vinyl release before Christmas. As a teaser, his label Curve Entertainment Inc. has released the single "You And Me (We Wanted It All)" now available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and other digital streaming platforms.
