Filipina racer Bianca Bustamante is set to make her Italian F4 debut at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium this weekend in a one-off appearance with PREMA Racing.

Bustamante, who is coming off a disappointing finish in Barcelona last week, will be replacing Brazilian driver Aurelia Nobels in the lineup who’s currently recovering from an injury.

After Bustamante’s first stint in the F4 UAE in February, where she finished 27th overall in a 45-driver grid, the 18-year-old went on to secure her maiden career win in the inaugural 2023 F1 Academy in Valencia, Spain.

The Filipina teen signed a contract with the Italian team in January following the abrupt end of the all-female single-seater competition W Series last year.

Bustamante is the third female driver to join the grid, with Tina Hausmann of AKM Motorsport and Victoria Blokhina of PHM Racing already in tow.

The race weekend will feature two practice sessions on Friday, two qualifying sessions on Saturday followed by the first race and will end with two more races on Sunday.
