After years of waiting, the live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic “The Little Mermaid” is finally upon us. We rediscover the tale of Ariel as she journeys her way from the wonders of the sea to the human world. During a special screening of the movie hosted by Ayala Mall Cinemas at Glorietta 4, Manila Bulletin Lifestyle witnessed the retelling of Hans Christian Anderson’s tale through the direction of Rob Marshall with Halle Bailey as the young mermaid princess Ariel.
