2 men wanted for carnapping, acts of lasciviousness arrested in Pasay, Makati
Two men wanted for carnapping and acts of lasciviousness were arrested in separate operations conducted by members of the Pasay police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Wednesday, May 24.
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, identified the suspects as Higuel Shanon de Una, alias ‘Shanon Higuel de Una’, 26, a cook; and John Christian Tanamor, alias “Buboy”, 25.
Uy said De Una was arrested by members of WSS at around 2:00 p.m. along Santiago Street, Paseo de Magallanes, Barangay Magallanes, Makati City.
He said De Una, tagged by the police as the top five most wanted person, was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Jehan Batua Sampao-Hassiman, of Pasay City Family Court Branch 11 for acts of lasciviousness with bail recommended at P200,000.
The city police chief said Tanamor, listed as the fourth most wanted person in the city, was arrested at around 3:00 p.m. along Pasadena Street, Pasay City.
Uy said Tanamor was arrested by members of WSS who were conducting a manhunt operation against wanted persons.
He said Tanamor who was facing carnapping charges was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Elenita Carlos Dimaguila, of Pasay City Regional Trial Court RTC) Branch 298 on March 22, 2023 with a recommended bail of P300,000.
The suspects were detained at the Pasay police custodial facility after their arrest.
