Kin of 2 high school students stabbed to death in Northern Samar seek justice
TACLOBAN CITY - Family and friends of two high school students killed by still unidentified assailants in Pambujan, Northern Samar have sought justice for their tragic deaths.
The two minor victims, both students of Pambujan National High School, were stabbed by the suspects while they were on the beach on May 21.
The female victim died while being treated at the hospital while the male victim's body was found floating in the Lu-ok area in Barangay 1 Poblacion in Pambujan.
Police Col. Alfredo Tadefa, Northern Samar police director, assured their family and the public of their total commitment to the immediate resolution of the case.
"I have already ordered an in-depth probe into this unfortunate incident. Let us help bring justice to the victims' families," he said.
He also encouraged the public to provide any information that may help speed up the investigation and resolution of the case.
"We want to remind children and students to always be vigilant around their environment, and for parents to closely monitor and guide their children especially if they are still minors."
