As the world and festival fully leave behind its pandemic chapter, it goes back to its full-blown glamor display. This time, it is not just the international fashion houses' pieces gracing its red carpet, but also the designs of noted Filipino fashion designers.
From modern couture creations to jaw-dropping ball gowns, here are some of the Filipino-made fashions we've seen on the red carpet of the 76th Cannes Film Festival.

Dubai-based couturier Michael Cinco has been dressing Hollywood A-listers in the past, with some even donning his creations at Cannes Film Festival. This year, the Filipino designer dressed three personalities for the event. First was Cambodia actress Yubin Shin in a royal blue feathered ball gown. Next was fashion influencer Stephania Morales graced the red carpet wearing a dove gray crystal-embellished ball gown. While fashion stylist Steven Doan donned the designer's contemporary menswear look---a cropped wool jacket over a cotton shirt paired with wool trousers and a flowy tunic organza.

Filipino designer Ryan Pacioles, creative director of Atelier Zuhra Dubai, made waves earlier this year after dressing music icon Beyonce. For the film festival, the designer created a look for Farhanan Bodi of Netflix's "Dubai Bling." The custom feathered gown was in bold neon lemon color and features a big bow with a three-meter-long train.

Filipino fashion designer Mark Bumgarner is raising the Philippine flag high at the 76th Cannes Film Festival red carpet with his Filipina muses Pia Wurtzbach and Kylie Verzosa. The two were visions of beauty and elegance as they made their festival debut. During her time at the festival, Pia donned two looks from the designer--an enchanting blood-red metallic gown and a black gown with a dramatic cape. While Kylie wowed the crowd with three looks---a black ball gown with cascading feathers and crystal embellishments, a whimsical blush mermaid gown, and a pastel blue dress with a corseted bodice, thigh-high slit, and crystallized cord detail.
