(Photo courtesy of Negros Occidental police) Police Capt. Bonifacio Galvez Jr., Valladolid police chief, said that some children found the baby. The baby was already bloated when he was discovered, he added. Galvez said the baby might have been swept by the sea to the area or might have been dumped or left there. He said there was no witnesses in the incident. He said they will coordinate with the Municipal Health Office (MHO) to locate or identify the parents of the infant, adding that they might be just within the barangay. This was the fourth infant dumped in the province this month. Although they are considered isolated cases, the provincial police force has expressed alarm over these. Two lifeless babies were reported in the cities of Kabankalan and Silay while a newborn baby boy was found in Sagay City. He is healthy and now under the custody of authorities.
