Binibining Pilipinas 2023 candidates flaunt symbolic and unique gowns at National Costume Competition

Another year of showing creativity and representation with the candidates of the Binibining Pilipinas 2023 as they walked the runway during the National Costume Competition at the New Frontier Theater last May 8. Hosted by Gabrielle Basiano (Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental) and Chelsea Fernandez (Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2022), the two Binibinis also put up their best looks. Before the actual National Costume competition, the candidates also gave their fans a classy and elegant look as they walked the runway wearing the evening gown. Beautéderm President and CEO Rhea Tan gave a special award called ''Miss Blanc Beauty'' to Bb. 24 Anna Valencia Lakrini (Bataan) who won P600,000 worth of Beautéderm products. Last May 21, the Grand Parade of Beauties was also held in Araneta City Grounds. After facing a backclash on their national costumes, Bb. 34 Joy Dacoron (Cebu) walked the runway wearing a Sinulog-inspired costume, while Bb. 32 Sharmaine Magdasoc (Ortigas) kept her grace she appeared on the stage with her Edsa Shrine-themed costume.

The winner of Best National Costume and other special awards will be announced during the Grand Coronation of Binibining Pilipinas 2023 at the Araneta Coliseum on May 28 at 9:30 p.m. It will be hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg will crown the new Bb. Pilipinas International. Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda will have a special performance in the much-awaited pageant. The live telecast will be available on A2Z Channel, Kapamilya Channel Online, and Metro Channel. It is also available for online streaming at iWanTFC and Bb. Pilipinas official YouTube Channel.
