- According to the host of “It’s Showtime”, she decided to support Angkasangga Partylist because, aside from the fact she has known Mr. Royeca for some time, she is one with the programs that partylist is advocating.

Plenty of partylists wooed Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda to win her endorsement but she turned them all down because she trusts one only: the Angkasangga Partylist.
“Ang dami ring lumalapit sa akin na mga partylist na pinagdududahan ko rin, talaga, iyan ang partylist mo? Parang ang layo sa pagkatao mo nung partylist na binibitbit mo. (There are also so many partylists approaching me that I also doubt, really, is that your partylist? It seems like the partylist you're carrying is far removed from your personality)," Vice Ganda said in her vlog with Angkas CEO and Angkasangga Partylist First Nominee George Royeca.
“Kasi ngayon, parang gamitan na lang din ang grupo ng tao na bibitbitin kuno, para mas magmukha silang relatable, mas magmukha silang masa at mayroong kaakibat. (Because now, it seems like they're just using the group of people they're supposed to carry, to make them seem more relatable, more like the masses and have an affiliation)," Vice Ganda added.
According to the host of “It’s Showtime”, she decided to support Angkasangga Partylist because, aside from the fact she has known Mr. Royeca for some time, she is one with the programs that partylist is advocating. Among these are to recognize the informal workers as vital contributors of the Philippine economy, and to improve the transport system.
For Mr. Royeca, acknowledging the informal labor sector would certainly be a big step to improving the workers’ lives and giving them a brighter future.
“Paniwala ko, we can eradicate poverty in our lifetime if you just recognize those workers that are already working on a daily basis. Have a law that will protect them, their livelihood and income,” said Mr. Royeca.
Vice requested Mr. Royeca to support the passage of the SOGIE Bill when he gets a seat in Congress.
Mr. Royeca replied that he has been a long-time supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and his company, Angkas, has conducted campaigns and programs for the said community. He also assured Vice that he would vote for the passage of the SOGIE Bill.
