Aside from thoroughly implementing national law, Labra also instructed lawmen to continuously implement local ordinances to gain the people's trust and confidence. “Ituloy natin ang ating mandato (Let is continue our mandate), also in God’s way,” he added. Labra was accompanied in the inspection by the command group and regional staff. He looked into the needs and fighting capabilities of ground personnel. “I personally check our personnel on the ground to see if they are performing well and to ensure that their moral is high,” Labra said. “Our personnel are isolated geographically but our hands and minds are one in giving life to our mandate: To serve and protect.” Agusan del Sur has 14 city and municipal police stations and two provincial mobile force companies. On the other hand, there are 11 city and municipal police stations and two provincial mobile force companies in Agusan del Norte. Labra will also inspect other police stations in the region to check police performance and boost their morale and welfare.
