A man was stabbed to death by his co-vendor inside Dagonoy Market in San Andres Bukid, Manila on Thursday, Dec. 21.

The Manila Police District (MPD) Sta. Ana Police Station (PS-6) identified the victim as Romeo Lagado, 59, a resident of San Andres Bukid, Manila.
The arrested suspect was identified as Tristan Roy Cajar, 26, the victim's co-vendor.
The other suspect was identified as Christian Macabenta, 28, who is still at large.
Based on the initial police report, a witness saw the victim and the two suspects having an argument about their former job at an ice factory.
However, around 12:30 a.m. when their argument heated up, Macabenta suddenly held the victim, prompting Cajar to draw a bladed weapon and stab the victim on the different parts of his body.
Police said the suspects immediately fled but personnel of the Dagonoy Police Community Precinct (PCP) immediately responded, which resulted in Cajar's arrest.
Meanwhile, the victim was rushed to Sta. Ana Hospital but was declared dead around 1:15 a.m.
The arrested suspect will be charged with murder.
The police are conducting a manhunt operation against the other suspect.
