Quezon logs 181 active Covid cases

LUCENA City, Quezon – The Quezon Provincial Health Office has recorded an increase in the number of active Covid cases in the province. The Quezon Provincial Health Office (QPHO) said that from only one on April 10, cases suddenly surged on May 3, more than double the daily average of new infections. As of Monday, May 22, this province has 181 active Covid cases. According to the QPHO, the highest number of cases in a single day was recorded on May 17 with 43. Nine Covid deaths were recorded, two in Tayabas City, two in Candelaria, and one each in this city and the towns of San Antonio, Tagkawayan, Lucban, and Quezon in Alabat Island. On April 10, the QPHO logged 532 new Covid cases with 351 recoveries.
