Pulong dangles P1M for capture of lady architect's killer

Davao City 1st district Rep. Paolo Duterte is dangling a P1-million reward to anybody who can help authorities arrest the suspect in the killing of a lady architect, whose body was found in an open canal in Barangay Dacudao, Calinan, Davao. The victim, Vlanche Marie Bragas, 28, a resident of Megaville, was sexually assaulted before she was killed, Davao police confirmed. "As we, the Davaoeños, continue to seek justice for miss Bragas, we offer [a] P1-million reward to anyone who can tell us the whereabouts of the suspect/s," Duterte, a second-term solon, said. Ms. Vlanche Marie Bragas [was] an ordinary Davaoeña who strives hard every day for her future and her family. I together with the Bragas family mourn her death," added the solon, whose nickname is "Pulong". Police found the body in Dacudao at around 8 a.m. on May 17. It was covered in banana leaves. Vlanche was reported missing at 12:30 a.m. on May 17. She was last seen riding a yellow electric tri-wheeler vehicle near Crossing Fausta in Calinan.
