LAGUNA – Authorities seized a total of P3.1-million worth of suspected “shabu” in separate buy-bust operations in Calamba City on May 20.
The Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) said the first sting operation was conducted in Barangay Halang, where a high-value individual (HVI) identified as alias Jayson was arrested.
Confiscated from the suspect were four plastic sachets of suspected illegal drugs with an estimated value of P365,500.

A separate operation in Barangay Turbina collared two more HVIs, identified as alias Roni and alias Christian. The two suspects yielded eight plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” with an estimated value of P2,754,000.

The three are now under the custody of Calamba City Police Station (CPS) and are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The confiscated pieces of evidence were submitted to the crime laboratory for forensic examination.
