P3.1M 'shabu' seized in Calamba buy-bust operations

LAGUNA – Authorities seized a total of P3.1-million worth of suspected “shabu” in separate buy-bust operations in Calamba City on May 20. The Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) said the first sting operation was conducted in Barangay Halang, where a high-value individual (HVI) identified as alias Jayson was arrested. The three are now under the custody of Calamba City Police Station (CPS) and are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The confiscated pieces of evidence were submitted to the crime laboratory for forensic examination.
