Cybercrime violators, 20 others arrested by Bulacan police

theSan Ildefonso police operation successfully arrested the suspect involved in robbery-extortion and for violation of Republic Act 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act). 
The arrest was made during an entrapment operation at a restaurant located in Brgy. Poblacion, San Ildefonso. The arrested suspect was identified as Jenard Manlilic, 23, from Mapanique, Candaba, Pampanga. According to the police report, Manlilic allegedly extorted money from the victim's hacked Facebook account, soliciting funds from her friends and acquaintances. In another operation conducted by the Sta. Maria police in Barangay Poblacion, Santa Maria, Bulacan, a drug buy-bust operation led to the confiscation of approximately P170,000 worth of suspected shabu from the arrested drug dealer identified as Liberty Esplanada alias "Nene" from Brgy. 188, Tala Caloocan City. In an anti-illegal drug operations carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of Pandi, Meycauayan City, Bocaue, and Plaridel, a total of nine drug personalities were apprehended. The operations resulted in the confiscation of 22 sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money. Eight wanted felons for various crimes and violations were apprehended by tracker teams from the Bulacan Police Intelligence Unit, Calumpit, San Ildefonso, Bulakan, Obando, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), and Marilao police.  Bayani Bagtas Jr. alias "Ben", 22, wanted for Statutory Rape with no recommended bail, was arrested by members of the Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company together with the Calumpit police, and 301st Mobile Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 in Barangay Gatbuca, Calumpit. The arrested felons were placed under the custody of the arresting unit/station. The CSJDM police also promptly responded to a robbery hold-up along Quirino Highway, Brgy Kaypian, CSJDM, at about 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11. The successful follow-up operation led to the arrest of the suspect, Ramonito Espanillo, and the recovery of the stolen cellular phone, valued at P19,000.
