The Maynilad Water Service Inc. (Maynilad) announced that 13 villages in the cities of Parañaque and Pasay will experience water service interruptions on May 25 to 26.
According to Maynilad, the water service interruption will be implemented due to the conduct of repairs of the leaking ultra-filtration backwash valve at the Putatan Treatment Plant 2 in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City.
According to the Parañaque Public Information Office (PIO), from 12:01 a.m. of May 25 up to 11:59 p.m. of May 26, the five villages that will experience water
service interruptions are Barangays BF Homes, Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, San Antonio and San Martin de Porres.
The PIO said several areas in Barangays Marcelo Green and San San Antonio will again be included in the water service interruption including Barangays Merville and Moonwalk from 8 p.m. on May 25 until 6 a.m. on May 26.
Barangay BF Homes and BF International will experience 17-hour water interruption from 12:01 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 25 to 26.
In Pasay City, the six villages that will experience water service interruption for 10 hours are Barangays 181 to 185 and 201 from 8 p.m. on May 25 until 6 a.m. on May 26.
Maynilad advised residents who will be affected to store enough water before the scheduled water service interruption.
They also told their customers to visit their Facebook page for any concerns.
