Traffic advisory released for 3-month Manila Water sewer construction project in Mandaluyong City
The Mandaluyong City government and the Manila Water company released traffic advisories indicating the lane closures that will be followed amid the three-month sewer network construction by Manila Water in Barangay Hulo.Â
According to Manila Water, the Mandaluyong West Sewer Network Package 1 Project in Barangay Hulo, Mandaluyong City will start from Monday, May 22, until August 23.Â
Construction workers will be on-site daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to work on excavation of pits and microtunneling operations.
Some of the affected roads will be Coronado Street, F. Blumentritt Street, Private Road, Saniboy Street and San Francisco Street.Â
The local government said that a one-way traffic scheme will be implemented along F. Blumentritt Street and the Private Road.Â
Meanwhile, a two-way traffic layout will be enforced at Coronado Street.Â
Vehicles going to F. Blumentritt, P. Cruz, or Boni Avenue are advised to turn right on San Francisco Street then left on Private Road.Â
Vehicles bound for the Tree Top Condominium or Namayan Street can proceed straight to Coronado Extension.Â
Moderate to heavy traffic is expected to occur in the aforementioned areas during this three-month period.Â
