P3.1-M shabu seized in Laguna drug busts

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – Police arrested three suspected drug pushers and seized shabu worth P3.1 million in buy-bust operations here on Saturday, May 20. Laguna police director Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio, quoting a report by Calamba police chief Police Lt. Col. Milany Martinez, identified the suspects as Calamba residents Roni Hernandez, Christian Libao, and Jayson Muyna. Hernandez and Libao were arrested in Barangay Turbina and yielded eight plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 405 grams with an estimated street value of P2.7 million. Muyna was apprehended in Barangay Halang and confiscated from him were 53.75 grams of suspected shabu valued at P365,500. Pieces of evidence were subjected to examination while drug-related charges were filed in court against the suspects.
