Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and Vice President Sara Duterte launched “One Barangay, One Product (OBOP)" at the Malabon Sports Complex on Saturday, May 20. OBOP is a project initiated by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Malabon City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (CTCAO) to promote and develop the city’s famous delicacies, services, and products. Sandoval, VP Duterte, and former Malabon City Representative Ricky Sandoval were present during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. There were 21 city barangays that showcased their products in the OBOP exhibit held at the lobby of Malabon’s City Hall. Visitors had the opportunity to avail and taste the various products during the exhibit. “The city government will continue to work closely with all sectors to drive continued economic growth and promote Malabon’s distinct culture,” Sandoval said.

Meanwhile, the local government capped off its Tambobong Festival with the Indakan Festival. “Noong 2011, upang ipromote ang turismo sa Davao, naglunsad si dating Mayor Sara Duterte ng kampanya na may pamagat na
"
Davao: Life is Here."
Kagaya ng kampanyang ito, ang Tambobong Indakan Festival ay naglalayon rin na maitaas ang kamalayan sa turismo sa ating lungsod (In 2011, to promote tourism in Davao, former Mayor Sara Duterte launched a campaign titled "Davao: Life is Here." Like this campaign, the Tambobong Indakan Festival also aims to raise awareness of tourism in our city),” the mayor expressed. Indakan Festival is the city’s annual street dance competition that promotes the culture of Malabon through festive costumes and choreography. Over 20 groups of street dancers paraded the streets of Hulong Duhat to San Agustin. The groups were composed of elementary and high school performers. They were wearing colorful costumes made of recycled and native materials. Winners from each category bagged P50,000, while first placers received P30,000 and second place with P20,000.
