Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, said the suspect, Christian Jay Lapuz, was arrested at around 3:40 a.m. while undergoing treatment at the Ospital ng Manila.
Uy said members of Sub-Station 2 were conducting ‘Oplan Sita’ at around 1 a.m. along Noble Street corner Tramo Street in Barangay 57 when they noticed a man who was not wearing a helmet while on-board a motorcycle.
The city police chief said Sub-Station 2 operatives flagged down the suspect in violation of Republic Act No. 10054, an act mandating all motorcycle riders to wear standard

Uy said members of the Sub-Station 2 received a call from the Ospital ng Manila, reporting a man with a gunshot wound.
He said police operatives immediately proceeded to the hospital and found the suspect who was being treated by an attending physician.
Police recovered a .38 caliber revolver without serial number with three live ammunitions and a unit of Yamaha Mio motorcycle color white with plate number 7174 XQ.
