Baguio diocesan administrator named

While the Diocese of Baguio awaits the replacement of its former bishop now Capiz Archbishop Victor Bendico, Rev. Fr. Roland Buyagan has beef named as diocesan administrator.    Fr. Buyagan will temporarily look after the diocese until Pope Francis appoints Archbishop Bendico”s successor.    Fr. Buyagan is currently the rector of the San Pablo Seminary and parish priest   of the Divine Mercy Parish in Atab, Baguio City.    As diocesan administrator, he will lead in the celebration of the Holy Masses, in the administration of the Sacraments and all the tasks traditionally performed by the bishop.    The Holy Father named Bendico as the fourth archbishop of Capiz in March to replace Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula.
