7 drug peddlers busted in Nueva Ecija

TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija – Seven suspected drug pushers, including three minors, were arrested by authorities in buy-bust operations in this town and Zaragoza, this province, on Saturday, May 20. The minor suspects were apprehended at around 7 p.m. in Barangay Pagasa, Talavera. They yielded about six grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board Value of P1,500. Seized from the four other suspects were a total of 1.9 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of P12,920. Suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
