Online teacher nabbed for rape in La Union

BAGUIO CITY – Police arrested an online teacher on Friday, May 19,  in Pugo, La Union for allegedly raping a minor. The Baguio City Police Office identified as the suspect as John Paul Lubin Ecom, 29. Ecom was tagged as  Top 3 Most Wanted Person on the city level in Baguio and the the BCPO Irisan station’s Top 1 Most Wanted Person. He was apprehended on a warrant issued by Judge Mia Joy Crisostomo Oallares-Cawed of Branch 4, Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Baguio City for statutory rape with no bail recommended. Suspect was brought to BCPO Station 9 for proper disposition and documentation.
