MMDA wants Ria Atayde

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) wants actress Ria Atayde to be their new spokesperson. MMDA acting chair Don Artes relayed this to media Friday noting Ria will be a great asset to the agency. "I personally recruited Ms. Ria Ataye who graciously agreed. I submitted the application, endorsement to Malacañang for Ms. Atayde to be the spokesperson of the MMDA," said Artes. "As qualifications are concerned, she's a communications graduate from La Salle. I think her work experience is suited for the spokesperson position. And her being a celebrity would be beneficial to the agency as far as information dissemination is concerned," Artes added. Ria is the sister of actor-congressman Arjo Atayde. Both are children of awarded actress Sylvia Sanchez.
