ENRILE, Cagayan – The Department of Public Works and Highways recently completed a bridge-widening project here that will give motorists a safer and more convenient travel.

DPWH-Cagayan Third District Engineering Office (CTDEO) District Engineer Mariano B. Malupeng said the Liwan Bridge on the Kalinga-Cagayan Road (Calanan-Enrile Section) in Barangay Liwan Sur spans 22 meters and has been widened from two to four lanes.
The P22.1-million project was funded by the General Appropriations Act (GAA) for fiscal year 2022.
Malupeng said the project will contribute to the further development of the area, improve the quality of life of the residents, as well as enhance economic growth and promote tourism.
